River Fishing Trips With Local Expert Guide

My river trips are mostly late winter and spring and are designed around ultra-light tackle and fly fishing. I run a 17-foot custom aluminum Weldbilt drift Jon, designed to navigate very skinny water for up to 2 anglers. This stealthy, jet-driven boat allows access to areas most boats cannot reach. I fish the Brazos River from Possum Kingdom down to Lake Whitney and target species including Crappie, Sandbass, Largemouth, Carp, and Gar. I offer half-day and full-day trips depending on the season.

Why Choose Me

Read the River, Not Just the Rod

By watching current flow, water depth, and fish movement, I help put you in areas where fish naturally feed, giving every cast a better purpose.

Every Trip Follows the River's Daily Pattern

Throughout the day, I adapt my spots, bait presentation, and fishing strategies according to what the water is doing.

More Fishing Time, Less Trial and Error

I take you straight to the spots that always have fish, so you can spend more time enjoying all the fun.
